Nature, buildings & life.

Since I was a kid, I've felt a deep connection with nature. I still remember the smell of the wet grass after the rain in the backyard of my childhood's home, how my cousins and I tried fishing in a little lake near and the countless pets we had. All that was when was under 11 and I lived in a little town in the south of Mexico where I born.

But things changed drastically in my life when my mother and I had to move far from home. I realized that life in the city is completely different. But it really help me to see life in a different point of view. When I was in high school, I felt interested in how city planning works and how the tall buildings could be constructed.

When I was 16, I was determined to study architecture, civil engineering or environmental engineering but choose one of them was really difficult for me but as some older people say "life takes you to the right place".

At 18 I had to move again to start my university life in Mexico City, the experience was sometimes difficult and hurtful but fun and powerful. And I learned not only the academic stuff but everything that help every day make a better version of myself.

Right now, I've already finish my career in Civil Engineering but I want to make a masters degree in Renewable energies, I have a nice job and I study English in ENALLT because I want to make an certification next year. I'm still following what I think is the best for our society, our planet and for me but I have to work really harder.

  7. I also share that connection with nature. Certainly and sadly in the city we lack of green areas, they are not well distributed , those spaces are very important for the well being of humans.
Your masters degree sounds very interesting, it will be a good combination.
